new life style!

sorry I haven't posted yet this week darlings. But I have exciting news! Monday I started my new life style plan. Its only Thursday and i have all ready lost three pounds! The healthy way! I am so excited I have never had this much energy! Its great to fill up on veggies and yummy fruit the best part is my sweet baby girl is on this journey two! She absolutely loves the yummy food we eat every night! I have cut out all meat from my diet except chicken and crab And i only get one serving a day at dinner. My breakfast is fruit and nonfat yogurt parfait. fresh fruit not frozen. lunch is usually a salad and I get half a CLIFF bar between each meal. A snack before bed of half a serving of yogurt covered raisins and four slices of cheese! On top of all that I work out Yesterday I went to softball practice for 2 hours, went for a 30 min walk pulling my daughter and younger sister in there wagon (80 lbs together), and went to an hour long tumbling class. so the exercise is key!
From that last paragraph you can guess that I decided to do softball. Monday was my first pitching practice... It went relay well to my surprise! Yesterday was an open gym and we played catch, bated and i pitched a little. I am still on the out side tho I  mean the girls talk about me they know I have talent but there still a little weird about me because i have a daughter.... Tough luck you half to grow up some time ladies.
although i am kind of worried because I need a scholarship and i just don't know if all get it in cheer or softball and I need it if I want to be a teacher.... its relay nerve racking to worry about.
we had our cheer meeting yesterday to! that was also exciting to vote on awards for the 2013-2014 squad... I don't know if I got an award but I am excited that i get to continue this journey into next year. and that i get to pull out some new tumbling this upcoming year.

Running My Own Business

opening your own business is hard, doing it when your in high school even harder, but doing it in high school and raising a baby that is impossible right? No! as of March 23, 2014, my babysitting business is up and going and making money! I have provided services for multiple families and will be working full time for a family in Carthage during the summer! i am so excited to announce this! my life is taking off at jet speed and there hasn't been any turbulence yet :)
wish this crazy girl luck as she manages a business and prepares to add a partner and more clients to her ever growing list!

Plans For Senior Year

In my last post I wrote about only doing one sport a year to maintain physical fitness and school involvement. I have decided to go ahead and do two sports for my senior year. Cheerleading and softball, cheerleading is during the actual school year and softball is in the summer so it wont be as hard to juggle two sports school and my sweet baby girl (jade). Although I am thinking of doing both, I haven't fully made up my mind.
I am so ready to begin my senior year and to graduate, starting my life with my daughter. my plans after graduation are pretty much set in stone I will be pursing some form of teaching! This is very exciting because I would love to teach high school business or German as a foreign language. Teaching is by far one of my biggest passions! Training up the next generation, preparing young minds for the real world, and yes putting up with all the freshmen crap. There will always be a need for teachers some were, this is defiantly a good job to consider if your a young mother.

My life know

Hello my name is Felicity, I had my daughter at the age of 14 a month before my 15th birthday. I was lucky and blessed to have a supportive family that helped me care for my daughter for the first year. I got a job and have worked ever since I was 16. The point of this blog was to provide encouragement to other young mothers that it is possible to succeed and still provide, love, and take care of your child. I also want to show that your life isn't over it is only beginning.
My life is still very complicated don't get me wrong, I am in debt from a lawyer who sits on her butt and dos not do anything. I am fighting my daughters father for custody, and a junior in high school. I try to participate in one sport a year, to stay physically fit. I always involve my daughter in every thing I do. it isn't often you see me out side of school without a little two year old holding my hand or maxi skirt.
I want to acknowledge that my daughter is the most amazing thing to ever happen in my life and she saved me from falling into the "teenager" phase filled with drinking, parties, and drugs. she has given me a reason to finish school and become something more than a factory worker:) never underestimate the power of one small child :)
I have been with the same man for over a year. He was my best friend for over 6 years and the only person I felt like I could tell every thing to. He loves my daughter with all  his heart and has never once acted like he didn't want to be in her life. part of that was because I told him we were a package deal I would never not be in her life, she would always be with me and if he loved me the way he said he would half to accept her. But the amazing thing was he didn't just accept her, he tock her into his heart and loves her so much more than I expected or even thought was possible.
I hope that as I continue to post on here that some of you take something out of it. Inspiration, encouragement, or ideas that you can apply to your life:)

thank you for reading,

Felicity
